Staying close to the people you love

Brenna is how your family member's aged care home keeps you in the loop: real updates, sent straight to you, so you know what's going on even on the days you can't visit.

What is Brenna?

Brenna is the app your family member's aged care home uses to keep you informed. When something happens, from a change in how they're feeling to a photo from afternoon activities, staff send a structured update straight to your phone. You don't need to call the home or wait for a scheduled check-in. It comes to you, as it happens.

Why does our home use Brenna?

Aged care homes are expected to keep families genuinely informed and involved in care decisions. Brenna is how many homes do that well: instead of relying on phone calls that can be missed, or updates that only reach one family member, everyone connected gets the same information, at the same time, with a record either of you can look back on.

What kind of updates will I get?

Day-to-day updates on how they're doing, meals, and activities; changes in condition or care, like a fall, an infection, or a medication change; and general announcements from the home, like upcoming events or visiting changes. Not everything is urgent: Brenna uses a simple priority marker so you can tell at a glance what needs your attention now and what's just good to know.

Family Chat

Alongside updates from the home, your family gets its own private space to talk to each other: coordinating visits, sharing how a visit went, checking in. The home doesn't see this, and neither does Brenna. It's just for you and the other family members connected to your loved one.

Is my information private?

Yes. Updates from the home go one way, to you. Family Chat is visible only to the family members connected to your loved one, never to staff, and never to Brenna. Full detail is on our Security & Privacy page.

Yes. Your home manages who's connected for each resident.
How do I add another family member?
Ask your home to connect them. They manage access on your family's behalf.
